Brambrüesch Mountain (cableway)

Brambrüesch Mountain rises just above Chur’s historic centre, and the aerial cableway is the quickest way to reach its high‑plateau for a day of outdoor fun. From the Kasernenstrasse station you board the cabin at 8:30 am; in winter the first trip departs then and the line runs every 20 minutes until 5 pm, with a ski‑lift operating from 9 am to 4 pm and a chair‑lift from 4 am to 4 pm. On selected Saturdays (6 Jan – 2 Mar) service extends to 10 pm, letting evening skiers enjoy the slopes after dark.

The winter timetable also includes a daily service from 21 Dec 2023 to 17 Mar 2024, plus weekend openings on 23‑24 Mar and 29 Mar – 1 Apr. When the snow melts, the mountain opens for hikers, mountain‑bikers, and “dirt‑surfers.” From 8 Jun to 20 Oct the cableway runs every day, weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and weekends until 5 pm; Saturday evenings (8 Jun – 31 Aug) enjoy continuous rides until 8 pm.
