The All Ice Pavilion, located within the Allalin Glacier in Saas-Fee, was a notable artificial ice cave that offered visitors a unique subterranean experience. Constructed deep within the glacier, the pavilion featured a 71-meter tunnel leading to an interior illuminated by electric lighting, creating a cool and immersive atmosphere. The structure was designed to showcase the beauty of the ice, with natural and artificial elements combining to create a striking visual experience.

However, due to the rapid retreat of the glacier caused by climate change, the ice structure has become unstable. As of 2024, the All Ice Pavilion is closed permanently due to safety concerns. The retreat of the ice has made the site inaccessible and unsafe for visitors. The operators have since introduced a new experience, the VirtuAll, which offers a virtual reality exploration of the glacier, allowing visitors to experience the ice in a safe and controlled manner.

The transition from the physical ice cave to a virtual experience reflects the changing conditions of the alpine environment. While the physical structure is no longer accessible, the virtual experience provides an alternative way to engage with the glacier. This shift highlights the impact of climate change on alpine landscapes and the need for adaptive measures in tourism. Visitors are advised to check the current status of attractions, as conditions can change rapidly in the alpine environment. The focus has shifted from physical exploration to educational and virtual experiences, ensuring safety while maintaining engagement with the natural environment.
